From Lazy Susans to our Pendants our pieces are one of a kind functional art. Electricity never follows the same path twice so no two pieces will ever be exactly the same and I love that about fractal art and love to make art pieces that can never be duplicated even if I wanted to. From trees to lakes and everything in between I can make a piece that you will be proud to give as a birthday or wedding gift. Each design is hand crafted right here in South Lake Tahoe and many of the designs are Lake Inspired but I love to do bears and other designs as well. Lazy Susans
Each of our lazy Susans also doubles as wall art, and when not used on a table, can hang on the wall. Whether it’s a single tree or a pocketed design, each piece is numbered, signed, and crafted with the utmost care. Most are lake-inspired, but other designs are also used like bears, horses, yetis, and more. I love to do custom pieces so let me know what inspires you and Im sure I can create it. We start with the proper size of Pine and Douglas fir round and lay out the design, then burn the outline with wood. I then route out the design and fractal burn it. I can do a standard burn or create trees. I then stain, finish it with a food safe acrylic, and pour it using only the best epoxy for durability and longevity. Lazy Susans come in three sizes 12, 15, and 18 inch and in three different finishes natural, dark and antique. I can pour it using several different techniques which create different looks depending on the look I want. I’m sure I can create one for you or for a family member that you will love.
Reflection
The reflection design was created from the idea of looking at the lake and seeing the reflection of a tree in the lake. I wanted to recreate that look of a tree against the sky and as a result the “Reflection” design was born. It takes a bit of practice to get just the right amount colored epoxy to create the translucent effect so as not to hide the tree and create the design. I am always trying to improve it and have experimented with several different techniques to get it the way I want it. I love this design and was blessed with a copyrite as well and as with any design it will be become much more refined as I grow and improve.
Vintage Skateboard
Bottle Openers and Key holders
Our vintage skateboards are authentic Philippine mahogany old school style skateboards that were of the first design used in the sport. I add a lake or any other design and then they are fractal burned stained and finished and finally poured with colored epoxy. They are then fitted with a bottle opener or hooks for your keys. These pieces also make wonderful gifts as well as something even for your own home.
Live Edge Art and Charcuterie Boards
Our live edge Charcuterie pieces start from two different sizes of live edge Basswood planks and may or may not incorporate a design but may have the burns filled which add more depth to the board. The live edge wall art pieces can be any design and always incorporate epoxy and other materials to create a very unique piece.
